Melanie Grande

Melanie has contributed to planning for human exploration of both the Moon and Mars. Melanie currently serves the Human Landing System (HLS) Program as the co-Lead of the Architectures and Systems Analysis team. As a team lead, she manages a broad portfolio of products and 15 team members from several NASA centers, is engaged in cross-program coordination, and supports NASA enterprise-level integration for human exploration. 

Additionally, she is the co-Chair for the Allies and Advocates for Women (A2W) employee resource group (ERG) at NASA Langley. She also is a member of the AIAA Public Policy Committee, where she leads the Advocacy Working Group to organize aerospace advocacy events like Congressional Visits Day.
