Dr. Christopher Jones is the Chief Technologist for the Systems Analysis and Concepts Directorate at NASA’S Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. In this role, he maintains the overall health of the systems analysis and concept development disciplines within the Directorate and promotes their appropriate use in NASA programs and projects.
His previous work includes leadership of the facilitation and analysis team for a science and technology partnership among NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and the National Reconnaissance Office, evaluation of the architectural trades of using lunar resources for human missions on the Moon and to Mars, and development of two Venus atmospheric exploration concepts.
