David Bennett

Dr. David Bennett has worked for 16 years at NASA’s Langley Research Center, with 12 of those in the Vehicle Analysis Branch.

His area of expertise is in aerodynamics and heat transfer supporting the Constellation and Space Launch System Programs.

Before joining NASA, he worked for 10 years at the Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland. There he performed heat transfer and aerodynamics analyses on missile systems and spacecraft.

He holds a doctorate from Ohio State University in aeronautical engineering and a bachelor’s and master’s in aerospace engineering from West Virginia University.
