Madeline is a second-year student at NC State University studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Graphic Communications.
After her freshman year of college, Madeline received the opportunity to work with the U.S. Army and soon found that she loved working with Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS). She applied to NASA’s Pathways program and was hired by the Aeronautic Systems Analysis Branch (ASAB) at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, where Madeline has been working on the System-Wide Safety (SWS) Project to improve safety of sUAS operations.
